 St.
Luke’s have trained up a team of 20 lay people from 10
villages to be trained in giving Home Based Care.
This involves giving advice to those nursing HIV positive patients at
home, and basic First Aid medicines such as ORS and Paracetamol.
They are also equipped with gloves, Jik (bleach) and other minor
equipment useful in home nursing patients.
